A Dive into the Mia Couture Workshop

At Mia Couture, every wedding dress is born from a dream. In our workshop, this dream gradually becomes a reality thanks to our expertise, our patience, and our attention to the smallest details.

Behind every creation are hours of thought, meticulousness, and passion. Discover, step by step, how a dress is born and transformed into a unique piece.

1. The Sketch

It all begins on paper. After discussing with the bride to understand her needs, our stylist creates a custom design. This sketch is not just a drawing: it's the first concrete step towards her dream dress.

2. Pattern Making

Once the sketch is approved, it's time to create the pattern. This is a kind of "technical blueprint" cut from paper, which will serve as the basis for the dress. Every line is designed to perfectly fit the silhouette of the future bride.

3. Cutting

The pattern is then transferred to the chosen fabric. This step requires great precision, as a millimetre-perfect cut ensures an impeccable drape. The cut fabric pieces will soon be transformed into a real dress.

4. Assembly

The pieces are sewn together, initially in a temporary manner. This allows the dress to take shape and for details to be adjusted if necessary. This is when you truly start to see it come to life.

5. Fittings

The future bride then returns to the showroom for fittings. These moments are essential for adjusting lengths, refining the waist, and repositioning certain elements. Every detail counts to ensure the dress perfectly fits the body.

6. Finishing Touches

Lace, pearls, buttons, or embroidery... this is where the dress reveals its full personality. The finishing touches are done by hand, with patience and meticulousness. It is often this stage that transforms a beautiful dress into a unique piece.

7. Delivery

Once the final alterations are made, the dress is carefully pressed and prepared. It is then handed over to our Mia bride, ready to accompany her on the most beautiful day of her life.
